Selecting Data to be Exported in TopoCAD

Exporting project data in various file formats such as DWG, DXF, SHP, and TAB is a useful feature of TopoCAD. In order to export the correct data, it is important to select the data to be exported. Here are the steps to do so:

Step 1: Open the project in TopoCAD

Launch TopoCAD and open the project that contains the data you want to export.

Step 2: Open the Export Wizard

Click on the "File" menu and select "Export" from the dropdown menu. This will open the Export Wizard.

Step 3: Select the data to be exported

In the Export Wizard window, select the type of file format you want to export the data to (DWG, DXF, SHP, or TAB). Then, select the data that you want to export by checking the corresponding box(es). You can select individual features or the entire project.

Step 4: Customize export options (optional)

You can customize export options such as coordinate system, file name, and export parameters. If you don't need to make any changes, you can skip this step.

Step 5: Export the data

Once you have selected the data and customized the export options (if necessary), click on the "Export" button to export the data in the selected file format.




The exported file will be saved in the location specified in the export options.
