Problem with Chainage Numbering in Revit

I have started chaining from 0+1.840 and the increment will be every 10 meters, so my next chainage will be 0+11.840. However, when I changed the alignment label edit to 10 meters, my next chainage came out as 0+10.00, then increasing for every 10 meters. But my goal is to chain from 0+1.840, then 0+11.840, 0+21.840, etc.

Solution:

  1. Select the alignment label you want to modify in Revit.
  2. In the "Edit Alignment Label" dialog box, click on the "Numbering" tab.
  3. In the "Increment" section, make sure the value is set to 10 meters.
  4. In the "Start From" section, enter the chainage value you want to use as a starting point. In this case, enter "1.840".
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

This should solve your chainage numbering problem and allow you to continue chaining from "0+1.840" and increasing by 10 meters each time to get "0+11.840", "0+21.840", etc.
